Cruise discovery in the province of Prachuab
Kiri Khan at the departure of Hua Hin in direction of the national
park of Khao Sam Roi Yot.
08.00 Departure
by vehicle from Hua Hin to reach the Pattara marina situated
at some kilometres in the south of Hua Hin. At the arrival,
welcome by Captain Barry and his crew. Get on board of the Mai Thai Cruise, a traditional boat made of wood equipped
for full day cruises (air-conditioned cabin, toilet, shower,
running water, electricity, cocktail bar, music, life jackets,
British-Thai crew).
09.00 Navigation on the Pranburi River in the middle of the mangrove
swamp, with tea, coffee and fruits served on board. Pass
fishermen villages before reaching the sea in the gulf of
Siam and get to the islands of Ko Kulam and Ko Khinok where
dolphins of Irrawaddy can be seen in the clear waters.
10.45 Free time out on one of the islands for the discovery of the
submarine floors with mask and tuba, the leisure on an isolated
beach, or the discovery of the Khinok Island inhabited by monkeys.
13.00 Seafood
lunch in the fishermen village of Bang Pu situated in the
national park of Khao Sam Roi Yot (the mountain of the 300
peaks).
14.30 Departure
from the beach of Bang Pu in long tail boat to go to the cave
of Tham Phraya Nakhon that has a Royal Sala which was constructed
under the reign of King Chualalongkorn.
At a certain hour of the day, the Sala is splendidly illuminated
because of the sunlight that goes through an opening in the
cave.
16.00 After the visit, back by dugout to the boat,
then navigation toward the marina of Pattara where a vehicle
is waiting for the return to Hua Hin.
Possibility to finish the day with the visit of the national
park of Khao Sam Roi Yot, with a 30 minute-walk by
a sharp trail and then the crossing of the park by vehicle
before reaching Hua Hin by road.
The Mai Thai Cruise also offers a cruise on the Pranburi
River
for the sunset with cocktail and dinner barbecue served
on board.

Rochestra Bar: A first bar with an orchestra is situated in the pedestrian
zone of Hua Hin where the owner, a local pop music star is on
stage every evening on the sound of the guitars of the Pink
Floyds, the Rolling Stones or the last Thai hits: an excellent
variety of songs and an original setting for an evening with
friends. The second bar, entirely built in raw wood in the middle of
the trees, dominates the city and the sea from the top of Hua
Hin. During the night, the best way to get to this amazing bar
is to call a tuk-tuk or motorcycle-taxi. Do not forget to keep
your driver (stand-by krap!) once there, otherwise you won't
have anybody to bring you back down to Hua Hin !
City Night-club: Thai disco with DJ, singer and orchestra
together with choreographers, the whole thing in a very good
ambiance.

The Mai Thai Cruise can be privately rent for about thirty
participants, and a second
boat more modern can join the trip at sea for a maximum of sixty
people.
Lunch on the beach of an uninhabited island with a sumptuous
barbecue of fish
and meats served in banana leaves. Cool and hot drinks during
the whole day.
Possibility to bring on the site several dugouts or jet skis
for a treasure hunt.
Snorkeling equipment at disposition. Cocktail at the arrival
in the cave of
Tham Phraya Nakhon. On the way back, open-bar on board with
snacks.

on board of the boat), a sweatshirt or a sweater, an anti-mosquito
lotion, a good solar protection, and a sense of adventure!
