Kitesurf - What is it?
Kitesurf is the result of 2 passions: the kite and the surf. Composed at its beginnings of flexible wings in a frame of paragliding type, the kitesurf will have a significant evolution with for the first time the association of a traction kite of delta shape, to the float of a sailboard.
The objectives of the course:
Being the only school certified in Thailand, the objective is to teach you kitesurfing safely, how to choose your equipment and the good spots (direction of the wind, effect of the wind, dangers…). The training programme proposes to give you all theoretical knowledge and practice in order to be capable to make your way without risk.
The whole equipment is provided and the beginners can try different types of Kites and boards so as to be able to choose later, according to their own expertise and wishes.
Warning to beginners:
It is better to start with a proper training in a school. Kitesurfing is difficult or dangerous only when people skip the first stages. However, the progression is fast and the neophyte can reasonably perform his first ride after practicing a dozen of hours. |
