This camp is very interesting! It's a camp where we study and have activities every day. So it's not boring for us to study there, not same as in classroom in my Bangkok school with teachers that wear some ugly glasses.
July is my first friend in this summer camp. She is Philippino. She came to this trip with her young brother. I met her at the airport, when she just arrived from Bangkok to Phuket with a small student's group. I flight from Bangkok alone in the air plane without friends to sit near me, because my father bought air-ticket too late! We went to buy air-ticket just one day before I left to Phuket, but that was not a problem.
When we arrived at Phuket airport, teachers welcomed us and bring by van all students to the British International School. This school was very big, with a large green areas including football fields and several indoor halls for sport activities. There are also two swimming pools: a small pool for kindergarten and primary, and a large pool for secondary.
Amp and Eye was my room mates. They became both quickly my best friends. They were from Surrathani in the south of Thailand. They were very nice and friendly with me. When I arrived in my room, I look a note in front of the door : there were only 3 names to stay in my room. I put my clothes and my bag near my new bed.
The next day, I met many new friends that came from different cities in Thailand, as well as countries. We were about 30 students during the two weeks camp. Amp, Eye and me decided quickly to create a gang because we had many things in relation. We like the same Korea brand, we like to dance and sing Korea songs together when we have free time, then we are sharing same stories when we have lunch or dinner together.
Maynie was also a new friend, she was very nice and cute but she was younger than us, about two-three years younger. Maynie joined our gang in a very short time too because she was very friendly and amazing girl. Soraya was a very nice staff from the school. She was playing with us when she had time. She was very cute and friendly, and her room was opposite mine so during nights when teachers were sleeping and all lights closed in rooms, she was coming to play with us then she came back to her room when we were asleep.
The second night was very bad for me because I have got a nightmare at about midnight. I saw a white women staying in front of me! That was a very bad time because I wan not able to breath and to move: no power at all in my body, and I was unable to speak or do anything. When I saw the white women, I hear some voices near my ears... but later I was laughing very louder, because there was not any white women in my room, it was only a dream... a nightmare! But it was looking like real in my dream! When I am at home in Bangkok, I also have nightmares sometime, but my father is near on the next room. In Thailand people say that kind of nightmare means : 'pee-arom' like to have some ghost come to sleep on your body and making you hard to breath and can't do anything.
In this summer camp, we had English courses in the morning and evening, we have snacks and drinks every 2 hours, and everyday we had sport activities as basketball, badminton or football. For English courses, there was 3 classroom with 3 different levels. I was in the second classroom called MONKEY CLASS. I met a good funny friend named Daydae, he was a boy from Suratthani city same as Amp and Eye, they were friends because they study in the same school in Suratthani.
During the second week of the monkey class, we had cooking and swimming! A cooking class is very interesting and funny because we cook a pizza and sushi same as my style! We can put many foods in the top of our pizza, with full of cheese and meat or a lot of egg shrimp in my sushi, so delicious.
So the last day was coming, it was very sad time because we had spent very good time with all my friends during that two weeks. For myself, I had to stay at the BIS for one more week because we booked tennis course (but it will be another story!), so I stayed 3 weeks there. Everybody was sad and crying. we exchange our e-mail, HI5 and FaceBook contacts in order for all of us to be in touch again.
Miss you all BIS2009CAMP... Hope to see all friend again! Bye for now! :-)
